The Axel General Cemetery contains 22 Polish war graves of the Second World War. A memorial, a pillar with a plaque with the Polish eagle attached and a memorial stone with Tatra engraved are added to the burial place.

The AxelGeneralCemetery is situated south of the town of Axel and contains 22 Polish war graves. These Polish soldiers died in and around Axel in the autumn of 1944. Other Polish soldiers who died during the liberation of Axel were buried at the CanadianWarCemetery in Adegem and the PolishWarCemetery in Lommel, both in Belgium.

The Polish War Graves in Axel are under the supervision of the Dutch War Graves Commission.
