Back Depannelaan, De Panne

This is the cemetery at De Panne. It is where political prisoners who died in German concentration camps, including Dachau, Dora and Sachsenhausen, are buried. After the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989 the ashes of nameless victims from no fewer than nine concentration camps were placed in the grave of the political prisoners.
